Welcome to sabarish.dev — the notes side of my work.
I'm Sabarish R, a cybersecurity × AI engineering student — B.Tech in Computer Science & Business Systems at Panimalar Engineering College, Chennai (class of 2028). Most of what I learn ends up as builds: threat-detection models, LLM security middleware, SOC tooling, hackathon platforms, and the occasional IEEE paper. This blog is where the how and why behind those builds gets written down.
Expect writeups on:
- security engineering & SOC automation — SIEM workflows, IDS, Active Directory attacks, incident response
- AI/ML for threat detection — phishing & email forensics, URL/QR/log analysis, automated risk scoring
- LLM security — prompt injection defense, PII redaction, RBAC & rate limiting middleware
- hackathon post-mortems — SIH 2026, RUSH HOUR 24H, PEC Techathon 3.0, IEEE PECTEAM 2K25
- research notes — from VeriGround (claim-level hallucination detection for RAG) to QRishing and PromptSentinel
If something here saves you an hour of debugging — or helps you stop an attack — that's the win.
